Questions are shared out equally between the skills you tick. Long multiplication and long division are worth 2 marks each, as in the real KS2 arithmetic test, and every other question is worth 1 mark.

How the sheet maker works

Each tick box is one of the 25 Year 6 arithmetic skills. The sheet maker writes brand-new questions for each skill you tick, with the same style and number sizes as the skill worksheets, and shares the questions out equally. If a question count does not divide exactly, the extra questions go to randomly chosen skills, so no skill ever has more than one question more than another.

The sheet starts with the 1-mark questions, then the long multiplication and long division questions, which are worth 2 marks each and have room to show the method. The answer sheet shows each answer, the method for long multiplication, and how to give a mark for a correct method with a small slip. Every answer is calculated by the same program that wrote the question.
