Boba Pals is a classroom maths quiz. Pupils join with a code and a generated nickname: no accounts, no email, no chat, no adverts, no analytics. To let it work, allow:
- HTTPS (port 443) to
- WebSocket (wss) to the same address, path
/live/ws/. This carries the live leaderboard. Some filters block WebSockets or break them with SSL inspection. - Nothing else: the pages load no third-party fonts, scripts, trackers or videos, and set no cookies.
